Sofía Vergara celebrated her 42nd birthday with the new man in her life – Joe Manganiello. For the past couple weeks, several media outlets speculated the two had become more than friends. Now, its quite evident that they’ve surpassed the friend zone.
According to Radar Online , a source close to the Modern Family actress has confirmed that the True Blood star is indeed the new man in her life. The insider also shared details about Vergara’s birthday bash that took place on Thursday, July 10. “Sofia and Joe were extremely flirty with each other and you couldn’t wipe the smile off Sofia’s face,” an insider told Radar. “They were all over each other.”
Although Vergara has yet to officially confirm or deny the relationship, this actually isn’t the first time the two have been spotted enjoying time together. She and the Magic Mike actor were also spotted in New Orleans, LA over the fourth of July holiday weekend. According to Yahoo! Celebrity , the two were definitely enjoying each other’s company.
They were very friendly and took pictures with other diners,” an inside source said. During the meal the two reportedly “held each other and kissed several times.”
The news about Vergara’s budding romance comes almost two months after the Colombian actress called off her engagement to business magnate Nick Loeb. On May 24, she took to WhoSay with an official statement announcing their split.
“Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart,” Vergara explained. We have being having too many problems with figuring out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, its been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore,” she wrote. “We are still very close but we believe is the best thing for us right now.”
However, Vergara’s breakup wasn’t the only incident to occur back in May. The 37-year-old actor also revealed to People magazine that Vergara is what he considers his “dream woman.” Luckily, Manganiello’s dream has become a reality.
