North West may only be 1 years old, but apparently she’s already taking after dad Kanye West in the fashion department.
The youngster turned 1 on Sunday , and celebrated with a trip to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan with mom Kim Kardashian and dad Kanye. Pictures from the visit also showed off the baby girl’s fashionable birthday gift, a pair of diamond-stud pierced earrings.
The tot has been snapped in fashionable attire many times before, leading to ABC News to compile the cutest North West pictures together to celebrate her birthday.
It would make sense that Kanye would impart his fashion sense on daughter North West. The rapper has a burgeoning career in fashion that includes his own line and some successful trips to Paris and New York Fashion Weeks.
Those who know Kanye West and his history aren’t surprised at his fashion turn . He actually started attending art school at age 5, and said he dreamed of working in fashion for a long time.
West explained:
“Everyone that, you know, came tonight knows that I’ve had a passion for a long time. I’ve dealt with this. Like because of how known [the brand] is, it’s so crazy how difficult it is. You know, it’s just everyone turns themselves into the cliché. Every factory I go to, every time I sit down and talk about it, it’s like whether I’m talking about clothes from the hip-hop side of things or talking about clothes with someone that is in the fashion industry to not have a prejudice against the U-shaped curve of success in your field.”

But fans who want to see a lot of North West as she grows up may be out of luck. Though mom Kim Kardashian is a big fan of the spotlight in her reality television career and Kanye is no stranger to attention, the couple has taken lengths to keep the tabloids and paparazzi at bay when it comes to their daughter.
