A new report by the Mail Online has made shocking revelations about the father of controversial US Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl. The father of the embattled POW, Robert Bob Bergdahl according to the report, drove by the home of two sisters residing at Hailey, Idaho multiple times a day and left creepy notes addressed for them. The two sisters who claim this to have happened to them are Lacey and Allie Hillman. The revelations came on the same day Bowe Bergdahl finally returned to the United States .
According to the Mail Online report, the sisters had filed a complaint with the local police department in Hailey after multiple instances of “sinister incidents” involving Bob Bergdahl. The report claims that they have access to police documents which reveal that Bob Bergdahl harassed the sister for over four months after which the sisters decided enough was enough and contacted the police.
Bob allegedly started stalking the sisters in 2011, nearly two years after the capture of Bowe Bergdahl in Afghanistan. The sisters claim in the report that back in 2011, Bob had stolen a Gnome from heir garden and returned it to them ten days later. Dismissing the event as a one off incident, the sisters ignored it. They sensed trouble after they saw that Bob was spending a considerable amount of time near their home – ‘on or near’ their property. Bob, who worked as an UPS delivery man also handed them over a note that said he was sorry for the gnome incident. The women threw away the note and asked Bob to mind his own business.
Things took an even weirder turn the very next week when Bob confronted Allie after he saw her boyfriend leaving her home. He accused her of cheating on him – even though the two were neither friends – nor were they dating. After this incident, Bob allegedly visited Lacey’s workplace and talked to her co-workers, possibly in an attempt to tarnish the sisters’ reputation. The incident however that shook the sisters to the core however was when they saw Bob Bergdahl lurk around their home for over two hours. They claim he sneaked up on Lacey as she was stepping out of a shower. It was after this that they contacted the police.
Although Bob Bergdahl was never arrested by the police, the report claims that he was instructed by them to leave the two women alone. Bob in his defense said that he was just “messing and joking” with them.
Meanwhile, the women in their complaint allegedly stated that they were very scared of Bergdahl and that they had no clue why he was targeting them. The sisters knew about the POW status of Bob’s son at the time of the incident and even had their share of sympathy for him – but his disturbing behavior towards them left them with no choice but to involve the police, the Mail Online Report claims.
This revelation about the alleged conduct of Bob Bergdahl is sure to rake up another controversy as Bowe Bergdahl finally reunites with his family soon.
