Last night, the Top 8 hopefuls took the stage to compete on the NBC hit singing competition The Voice , currently in it’s sixth season, and it was glorious. Although Adam Levine’s newly bleached blond hair threatened to steal the show, there were several stand out performances. In case you missed any of them, here is a quick recap:

The show started off with Sisaundra Lewis’ take on Tina Turner’s ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ , no small shoes to fill, to be certain. But the crowd-pleaser and former back-up singer for Celine Dion nailed it in her typical Sisaundra “I’m-here-to-conquer-the-world fashion.” Check out her performance below:

No small act to follow, but Team Usher’s Josh Kaufman took the stage following Sisaundra (and after a Blake Shelton and previous season 2 contestant Gwen Sebastian sang his new single “My Eyes” for the crowd). For his performance, this last man standing on Team Usher, sang Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” , and there was not a dry eye in the house. Check it out here:

After Josh took the stage, former nanny turned complete rock goddess, Kat Perkins took the stage to perform her rendition of Daft Punk and Pharrell’s hit song “Get Lucky” . Look at what the Team Adam contestant did with it. It may be safe to say that Kat lit the stage on fire, in more way than one:

Following Kat’s electrifying performance, Team Shakira hopeful Kristen Merlin took the stage to croon the Lee Brice soulful hit “I Drive Your Truck” , a heart-tugging song about a fallen soldier. Kristen left the stage to ample applause and praise from her coach, who called her performance ‘moving’.

Delvin Choice, representing Team Adam, would perform after Kristen, singing a moving rendition of R. Kelly’s hit song “I Believe I Can Fly” . The song seemed to hold special meaning for him as Delvin broke down in tears during rehearsals saying the the song represented everything that he’d been through to get to this point. Battling allergy issues, (Who can relate?), Team Blake’s humble country boy Jake Worthington took the stage to belt out Brooks and Dunn hit, “Hillbilly Deluxe” . Despite feeling under the weather, Jake delivered a solid, lighthearted performance. Check it out here:

After Jake left the stage, and after an entertaining performance by Pharrell Williams, Christina Grimmie came to perform another rap song, which she and her coach Adam stripped down to fit the YouTube sensation’s pop/soul side. She sang L’il Wayne’s “How to Love” . Catch the performance her coach is raving about here:

To round out the Top 8, Team Blake favorite, Audra Mclaughlin hit the stage to sing the Rebecca Lynn Howard classic “Forgive” . She was met from praise from the panel of coaches before exiting the stage triumphantly. Here is her show-stopping performance:

And for good measure here are the videos for the three super star performances that took place on last night’s NBC The Voice:

Blake Shelton and Gwen Sebastian singing “My Eyes” :

Pharrell Williams’ performance of his new single “Come Get It Bae” :

Gwen Stefani performing her hit “Hollaback Girl” with a surprise appearance by none other than, Pharrell:

Tonight is the live elimination rounds in which three contestants will be sent home. Be sure to tune in to NBC at 8/7 central to see more of the coaches’ antics and find out who made it to the Top 5 and for a chance to instantly save one of your favorites from elimination.
