Jessica Simpson has dropped her baby weight in short time, and is showing off her newly trim physique in an ad for Weight Watchers.
A picture of the singer and mother of two showed up on the company’s official Instagram page this week, featuring Simpson posing in a skintight white dress . In a commercial that goes along with the ad, Jessica Simpson says she feels great now that she’s taken the weight off again .
“I have a newfound determination that I’m really proud of,” she said.
Simpson admitted that she has a good reason to take off the weight. She and fiance Eric Johnson are set to walk the aisle soon, and she wanted to look great on her wedding day.
“The new year will definitely bring on the wedding bells which is exciting…I think it’s about time,” Simpson said. “Knowing that I have the wedding coming up is an incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, count my points and stay in the gym. I mean, when you see my dress, you’ll know.”
Jessica Simpson added that she wants to look great all the time, not just when she’s wearing a wedding gown.
“I’m just trying to feel good in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. I can’t wait to be able to feel just comfortable in my skin and know that I’m back to the person I’ve been before. I know this time I’m going to be so much stronger and so much more empowered, because I really earned it and I really got here, and took the steps to get here.”
When she’s not been working out or keeping track of her points, Jessica Simpson has been a very involved mom to her two kids, 21-month old daughter Maxwell Drew and eight-month-old son Ace Knute. Last week she shared a picture of Maxwell wearing matching sunglasses, and another shot of Ace sitting on the floor watching American Idol .
