We’ve known for a while now that Al Pacino and Barry Levinson, who worked on the TV movie You Don’t Know Jack together would be reuniting for Gotti: Three Generations but now we’ve learned that they will also step up to bat for an adaptation of Philip Roth’s novel The Humbling.
The movie is set to film this fall, just in time to wrap up before the men begin working on the John Travolta, James Franco, Lindsay Lohan starring Gotti vehicle.
For his role in The Humbling Pacino will play Simon Axler, a stage actor who is retiring to live with a far younger woman at an upstate New York farmhouse.
