What feud? George Clooney is denying he has any problem at all with another leading man, Leonardo diCaprio .
The rumors that there is something going on between to of the biggest, hottest stars in Hollywood stems from last year, when George Clooney left Leo hanging during an interview, but The Monuments Men star says it ain’t so.
“Somebody made it like there was a big fight. I’ve known Leo a long time and somebody just made that a fight.”
Clooney’s publicists made comments suggesting that diCaprio surrounds himself with the wrong people as he recalled a basketball game the two stars played together in Cabo San Lucas.
“The discrepancy between their game and how they talked about their game made me think of how important it is to have someone in your life to tell you what’s what. I’m not sure if Leo has someone like that.”
George Clooney’s spokesperson clarified that the reference was meant to be a joke:
“The Leo comments were all made in fun about basketball. Not about Leo’s life.”
Meanwhile, George Clooney is busy promoting his film The Monuments Men at the Berlin Film Festival over the weekend along with his co-stars.

George Clooney returned to Berlin, the area in which Monuments Men was filmed, to premiere the movie for German fans who came out to support and catch a glimpse at their favorite stars.
At the Berlin Premiere, the majority of the cast was present including, Hugh Bonneville, Clooney, John Goodman, Justus von Dohnanyi, Matt Damon, Ben Balaban, Dimitri Leonidas, Jean Dujardin, and Bill Murray all posing for photos and spending time with the fans.
The film flopped in the US and George Clooney is hoping the German audiences will be more forgiving than the Americans were. Many also feel he was slighted during awards season.
The Monuments Men receives a dismal 34 percent Tomatometer , at the Rotten Tomatoes website, which says:
“Its intentions are noble and its cast is impressive, but neither can compensate for The Monuments Men’s stiffly nostalgic tone and curiously slack narrative.”
Interestingly, George Clooney’s supposed foe, Leonardo diCaprio , has received mixed reactions from critics and audiences alike for his performance in The Wolff Of Wall Street , however, he has received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his role.
