Actress Jennifer Connelly and husband Paul Bettany have added a third child to their family .
The baby, named Agnes Lark Bettany, was born some time last week at the couple’s New York home via a planned water birth. Connelly first disclosed her pregnancy on David Letterman’s show, describing her pregnancy-related cravings:
“The first three months were very sketchy,” Connelly admitted. “You know how like you have your cell phone and you have to stand in one spot? It was like that with nausea. I had to stand in one spot, which happened to be in front of my refrigerator, which was open with me dipping pretzels in cream cheese and stuffing them in my mouth.”
Bettany and Connelly, both 40, met on the set of A Beautiful Mind in 2001 and wed in Scotland in 2003. Connelly had one child from a previous relationship, a 13-year-old named Kai, and has a seven-year-old son, Stellan, with Bettany. The new baby is her first daughter.
