Of all the Kim Kardashian stories you’ve read this week, or ever, this one will be the most bizarre. Of course, the Kardashian clan completely denies it, but the story is so weird, well, here it is anyway. You be the judge.
Now, we know that a woman’s wedding day is the biggest day of her life — even if she’s done it twice before . Which 33-year-old Kim Kardashian has done. Granted, the first time, she eloped and the second was another odd event — her sudden marriage to NBA basketball player Kris Humphries that was so odd that it fell apart in slightly more than two months.
Still, Kim Kardsahian’s upcoming wedding to rap star Kanye West looks to be a keeper — the pair already have a child together and appear to be genuinely devoted to one another. So she understandably wants the wedding to be a big deal. Nothing’s confirmed yet, but rumors of a summer wedding in France have been flying around for weeks.
Even for Kim Kardashian, who may well be the most photographed woman in the world right now, this is her day to be a star. Well, an even bigger star. And she doesn’t want anyone stealing the spotlight.
Now she’s worried that her 64-year-old stepfather, 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medalist Bruce Jenner, will get gender reassignment surgery and walk her down the aisle as a woman . And that would be a big distraction.
“Kim is fed up having to field questions about Bruce wanting to be a woman,” a Kardashian “insider” told The Star — as quoted in the Mirror newspaper. “She thinks he’s trying to steal her thunder. Kim had her heart set on a traditional ceremony with Bruce walking her down the aisle and giving her away. If he’s a woman by then, she absolutely won’t have it.”
Really? The story sounds too ridiculous to be true, even for the Kardashians. And according to the rumor-debunking web site Gossip Cop , it is. Not true, that is.
“Wow. Does Star even realize how ridiculous this sounds? ” Gossip Cop asks. “The rumors that Jenner is undergoing a sex change have been around since the ’70s, and yet, he remains a man .”
Gossip Cop called the Kardashians who just laughed at the story.
So there you have it. Kim Kardashian will likely have a certified male to walk her down the aisle after all.
