Demi Lovato’s new book Staying Strong: 365 Days A Year comes out tomorrow, January 28, which marks three-years since the actress/singer left rehab.

The 21-year-old has been through more than most at her young age, but all the negative, tough experiences she has lived have made her a much stronger person, hence the title of her book.

Demi Lovato has battled drug and alcohol abuse, eating disorders, depression, and family loss in recent years. She finally hit rock bottom and after an intervention by her team and parents decided to sober up.

Her mother reportedly threatened her with taking her away from Hollywood and her career if she didn’t clean up her act and so, after months of struggles, Demi Lovato is finally back on track.

With a new tour, staring next month and her new book, in which she speaks of her personal problems, the former child star is trying to show her fans what not to do with their lives.

Things are looking up for Demi Lovato and she even patched things up with her long-time BFF, Selena Gomez . The two had lost touch, following Demi’s wild behavior, which Selena admitted scared her, because she didn’t understand what her friend was going through.

Staying Strong: 365 Days A Year is a day-by-day regimen of healing and positivity that gives each day in a calendar year specific words of wisdom, alongside a motivational goal for the day, says PEOPLE magazine.

Clearly, Demi Lovato is striking a cord with her Twitter followers — who are mostly young teenage girls — with similar problems. A pop star that is using her platform to help others is always commendable.
