Jenni Farley, better known as JWoww to the MTV crowd, is pregnant with her first child.
Naturally, Twitter exploded.
Farley, known for being a part of the Jersey Shore cast and also starring in Snooki & JWoww with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, announced the news of her pregnancy with fiance Roger Mathews on her Web site, jennifarley.com, in the form of a Christmas card and blog post entitled “We Are Expecting.”
“Merry Christmas from within! Roger and I couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas gift this year! We wanted to share this exciting news with you all first because you have been a part of our lives these past few years and seen the love between Roger and me develop and blossom.”
The card features Jenni Farley’s ultrasound image of “Baby Mathews.” No gender was given for the unborn child, but an expected date of July, 2014 was offered.
Farley had indicated she wanted to settle down and have children in “probably a year or two” last October, putting her right on schedule. Very efficient planning, Jenni!
Her Jersey Shore cast mates were quick to offer Jenni Farley the baby love via Twitter, courtesy of MTV, with Polizzi telling her “Finally we can be MOMS together.”
Of course, Farley wasn’t the only Jersey Shore alum with baby news this year, but perhaps Jenni’s was more of the traditional variety. Paul DelVecchio, known as Pauly D, found out he was the father of a child after a fling in Las Vegas. Although excited and proud to be a father, DelVecchio admitted he was nervous to meet his daughter, Amabella, for the first time.
Farley and Mathews have been engaged since September, 2012, having been together for two and a half years prior to his proposal while skydiving . With a ring on the finger and bun in the oven, Jenni Farley has had quite an exciting life these past few years.
