After viewing the pilot episode of David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman reboot NBC executives have decided to pass on the show.
Entertainment Weekly on Friday said:
“Warner Bros. TV may try to shop the pilot elsewhere. But who would take a gamble on a pilot that NBC rejected?”
The show gained national attention when Adrianne Palick showed off her Wonder Woman outfit (pictured above), a “sexier” version of the outfit Lynda Carter wore during her run on the original ’70s series.
Aside from executive producers hating the show it also received less than stellar reviews from focus groups.
Even Elizabeth Hurley couldn’t save the series and I have to agree with Entertainment Weekly if NBC didn’t want it who exactly would.
