Justin Bieber has been rolling out quality R&B-drenched pop in his “Music Mondays” series for the past nine weeks. But it looks like the singer is about to mix it up in a collaboration with Chance The Rapper.
The 19-year-old dropped a hint about the upcoming pair-up on Monday, (Dec. 2) on Twitter when he sent a message to the Chicago native.
The trail goes back to another rapper Jeremih who previously tweeted that he was working in the studio with Chance.
Bieber then jumped in, saying, “We are next” to Chance , who retweeted the teen star and replied,
“It’s so damn good.”
According to Complex, a source reveals Justin and the “Acid Rain” rapper have written two songs together. One of these, titled “Confident,” is to be released as next week’s “Music Mondays” song.
Bieber teased the song (he also performed it at a Sweet Sixteen bash in Toronto earlier this year) in an Instagram video captioned “Preview” earlier today.
The clip shows the Canadian going through steps with his longtime choreographer, Nick DeMoura while a reggae track plays in the background.
And the news doesn’t there.
Immediately after tweeting Chance, Bieber fired off a multi-tweet which included the rapper, as well as Lil Wayne, Diplo, Big Sean, and “PYD” collaborator R. Kelly which hinted at a lot more.

Returning to Complex , the outlet reports a source confirmed a collaboration between the tweeted artists and Bieber will be the actual wrap to his #MusicMondays” campaign after “Confident.”
Bieber is currently in Australia on the last lap of his Believe tour which ends December 8.
With the pop prince’s 2013 new music releases ending on December 16, it’s a neat lead up to the Christmas Day debut of the Jon M. Chu-directed movie-documentary Believe .
