Looks like Chris Hemsworth is really having a terrific year of news. Unlike his Hunger Games star brother Liam, the older Hemsworth is lucky in love. It’s been confirmed to Us Weekly that Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky are expecting their second child .
The two are already lovely parents to 18-month-old daughter India Rose. It seems as though Chris and Elsa have a strong thing going, and the main ingredient is that the two met before Hemsworth had to endure fame. The pair met in 2010, before Hemsworth’s star rose and soon after they decided to get married over the holiday season.
Elsa, who is a Spanish-born star, told Us Weekly about what it’s like being a new mom. She wasn’t at a loss for words when she said:
“You become more sensitive about a lot of things. “With things like this, the ocean, you want to protect it for your kid to be able to see the world the way I saw it. That’s important for them to not lose it. There are so many animals endangered now in the ocean; it’ll be sad she won’t enjoy all those things.”
As for Chris Hemsworth, he opened up recently to E! on what it’s like entering fatherhood:
“[It changes you] for the better. It puts things into perspective.”
On his daughter, India Rose, Hemsworth recently told Ellen DeGeneres while promoting Thor :
“She’s a little silver-back gorilla, she’s great. She’s so physical. She has this thing of kind of kicking me in the head lately. I lie next to her and it’s just like, foot in the face… maybe I deserve it.”
The Fast & Furious 6 actress seemed proud to gush about her daughter and her accomplishments, having told Us Weekly : “She’s almost walking, and she says, ‘mama’ and ‘papa.’”
