Earlier this month , I suggested Battlefield 3 has what it takes to out-spectacle the spectacle that is Call of Duty . This trailer has only left me more convinced.
Some of these battles are looking pretty epic, with numerous combatants scooting about at once. There’s bomb disposal and some face-meet-fist-now-knee-meet-face action. More than anything, however, Battlefield 3 continues to ooze atmosphere. The feeling that you’re part of something far bigger: this game captures that.
Also, a tip: stick around right to the end of this latest trailer to watch an earthquake rip an entire street to pieces beneath your character’s feet. There’s a 12-minute video planned for April 17th.
