Kristin Cavallari is pregnant with her second child.
Cavallari and husband Jay Cutler are already parents to Camden Jack, who was born August 8, 2012.
The 26-year-old told E! News last month that she and Cutler, 30, wanted more children.
“We want to have a second sooner rather than later. We’re working on it,” she said.
“We know we want another one close in age to Camden and we’re at the point where we’re both ready,” she said. “Before Camden was born, I thought I’d be pregnant again by the time he was six months, but I definitely wasn’t ready. Now, I’m finally ready.”
Cavallari said she is hoping for a baby girl , but that she will be happy either way.
“Obviously, I want a little girl, but if I had another boy I would be so excited as well,” she said.
In February, Kristin Cavallari said she was “ addicted to motherhood ” and that she and Cutler wanted “a bunch of kids.”
Last month, the former Laguna Beach and The Hills star said that having Camden before getting married “worked” for her and her Chicago Bears quarterback husband. The couple married on June 7, almost a year after Camden was born.
“That was just what worked for us. We got engaged really quickly — after only eight months,” she said. “We definitely weren’t ready to get married then and so we put everything on hold and we ended up having the baby before. I think that when we did get married, we were absolutely ready.”
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler first became engaged in April 2011, but she called off the engagement in July of that year. Four months later, she announced that she and Cutler were back together and engaged for a second time. In January 2012, they announced Cavallari’s pregnancy.
Cavallari said she had no regrets about having a child before being married.
“Everything happens for a reason and it all works out how it’s supposed to,” she said.
