SYDNEY, Australia- Ed Hardy model Simone Farrow was arrested in Eastern Australia and extradited back to Sydney to face charges that she ran a drug ring and for fleeing $150,000 bail.
Former Penthouse Pet and Ed Hardy beach babe Simone Farrow was arrested Wednesday night at a cheap motel. She stands accused of trafficking “Ice” which is a form of Crystal Methamphetamine that is smoked like Crack Cocaine. Farrow had figured out a way to package the drug in cartons of bath salts for shipping.
Court Documents show that the model had legally changed her name to Lawson after posting bail. The government believes that she was changing her name to prepare to try to skip the country.
Police are alleging that Farrow was the brains behind a massive criminal conspiracy to import the drug into the country and sell it on the street.
One member of the alleged syndicate committed suicide in a Hollywood motel the day after being contacted by US authorities.
Court documents presented during her bail hearing said that Farrow had devised the system of hiding the “ice” in bath salts for import and ran the ring out of her Sunset Boulevard apartment in Los Angeles.
The Australian Federal Police worked with officers from the US Drug Enforcement Administration to investigate Farrow and her company GlobalStarr.
