Bravo’s Southern Charm fans have been waiting quite anxiously for Season 2 and the wait is almost over. The show is returning with new episodes soon and the network has just released a big sneak peek at all of the drama and chaos ahead. Many familiar faces are back, but there are some big differences in this new season as well. What Southern Charm spoilers are available so far?
Thomas Ravenel, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis and several others from Season 1 are back as Bravo follows these engaging and entertaining personalities around Charleston, South Carolina. The last fans saw of Thomas and Kathryn, they had reunited and they welcomed baby Kensington Calhoun Ravenel in March 2014.
While the show follows Thomas as he begins his campaign for the United States Senate, and his relationship with Kathryn, fans who follow these reality TV stars off-screen know there is no happy ending for Ravenel on either count. The Southern Charm spoiler preview shared by Us Weekly shows bits of Kathryn and Thomas, including her running after him saying she’s not letting him leave her. There’s an allegation that she spent the night with Craig on the beach, and most would imagine this does not end well.
Though it’s not known how much of the conflict will be shown on the show, if any, there was also a lot of drama between Thomas and Kathryn regarding an incident where he allegedly assaulted her stylist and fell into the pool with their daughter. As was previously reported by the Inquisitr , Ravenel said at one point he wouldn’t be a part of Season 2 of the show, but clearly he did end up filming.
However, as the Charleston City Paper noted, Ravenel later got mad at the network during his campaign and indicated he had again quit the show. From the sounds of things, Season 2 of Southern Charm could focus entirely on Kathryn and Thomas and probably fill up a full season.
That said, this won’t be simply the Ravenel and Dennis show. Craig, Cameran Eubanks, Whitney Sudler-Smith and Shep Rose are back, and the show has added Landon Clements to the mix as well. Clements has known Shep since college and she heads back to Charleston after a divorce.
As Bravo notes, Whitney and Shep are throwing themselves into the restaurant industry. Shep has purchased a home and is behind The Palace Hotel, which apparently is a hot dog restaurant. Cameran has gotten married and is focusing on a real estate career. Craig has also wrapped up law school and is said to tackle his first big case, but these Charleston stars are doing much more than simply focusing on their careers.
From the looks of things, Season 2 will have everything that fans love most about this show; drama, friendship, business, and chaos with a bit of genuine romance thrown in here and there for fun, it would seem. Fans will get a special sneak peek at the new season on Monday, March 9, with the full Season 2 premiere of Southern Charm airing on Monday, March 16.
