John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen were all smiles as they attended a gala event held by classical performer Andrea Bocelli on Saturday, September 6.

The event was an all-white theme party that Andrea Bocelli held in Florence, Italy, to celebrate Celebrity Fight Night. John, 35, and Chrissy were pretty much inseparable during the festivities, which were organized for the purpose of raising money for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and also to benefit the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, according to the Daily Mail .

The newlyweds will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary next weekend, and they looked every bit the part of a blissful married couple during Bocelli’s charitable bash. They even complimented one another from a fashionable perspective. Chrissy turned heads in a sheer black top and multicolored maxi skirt, while her husband showed up in a white blazer, white button down shirt, with black trousers and a black tie. The two cozied up to one another while Lionel Richie performed. John Legend would later take the stage to perform alongside host Andrea Bocelli. What song was chosen? None other than a touching rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love”.

John Legend will soon return to his All of Me tour after the short hiatus that included attending the Celebrity Fight Night party at Andrea Bocelli’s house in Italy.

Recently, John Legend revived a timeless classic when he took on Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” while performing at the Hollywood Bowl in late August. He was accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra during his show. His goal during the concert was to raise awareness to racial tensions caused by the rioting in Ferguson, Missouri. The show lasted nearly two hours and ended on an emotional note with “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Your Precious Love,” and “You’re All I Need to Get By.”

In unrelated news, Legend has also lent his voice to a promotional campaign in conjunction with the Philadelphia Eagles. The video is to promote the #FlyEaglesFly campaign geared at getting fans pumped up about the upcoming season. Bradley Cooper, a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan, joined forces with John Legend and The Roots to produce the two-minute long promo. See the video below.
