Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris was attacked and brutally beaten on Saturday night. He is currently in the intensive care unit, recovering from a “cracked skull” and “brain trauma.” According to KIRO 7, the incident happened in Washington State. Jake’s brother, Cornelia Marie Captain Josh Harris, discussed what happened on Facebook.
“The victim’s brother said Jake was beaten and then thrown out of a moving vehicle onto the side of the freeway. People in a car behind the suspects called 911 to get help. Josh said Jake had gotten a ride home from a couple who had been at the Quil Ceda Creek Casino near Marysville, but it was unclear if that’s where Jake had met the couple and where the actual beating took place.”
Deadliest Catch star Jake Harris’ current condition is unclear, and it’s unknown if his injuries were life-threatening. Josh Harris said that the couple who attacked his brother were known for doing such things. Apparently, they have beaten up folks before and subsequently robbed them. In one of the Facebook Live videos that he posted, Josh showed a photo of the couple and said one of their names.
Josh Harris has been working with detectives and said that police weren’t ready to arrest the man (and woman) responsible for this act because they are trying to “build a case” before bringing him in. According to a post on Facebook, this is the man responsible for beating Jake Harris. The picture below shows him and his girlfriend, both of whom have been accused of attacking, beating, and robbing innocent people.

Josh Harris has asked fans to circulate the above photos in hopes of locating the suspects. He has promised to continue to update fans on his brother’s condition and obviously hopes to have some better news to share soon. At this time, Josh has asked for people to pray for his brother. While he focuses on Jake’s well-being, he is also hopeful that the people responsible for this violent act are taken into custody.
Deadliest Catch fans have been wishing Jake Harris the best and hoping that he’s okay.
“It takes 200lbs of force to crack a human skull, 520lbs to crush it. They didn’t want him to survive, they’re monsters. And they WILL be brought to justice. Prayers to you, Jake, and your family,” said one Facebook user.
“I love the show!! Been watching it since day one, over here in Sydney Australia! You need to chain your brother to the boat when he gets better, get him clean and make your dad proud,” added another.
“I’m praying for your brother and hope he is able to find sobriety and get back where he belongs with family on the deadliest catch,” said a third.
Back in September, Jake Harris was arrested for DUI . According to a report by People Magazine , sources close to Harris say that he was having a hard time dealing with his dad’s sudden passing. At the time, Jake’s lawyer said that his client hadn’t had “a sip” of alcohol the night of his DUI arrest. According to TMZ , Harris was also arrested for DUI back in 2010.
He was also taken into custody for a hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license.
It’s clear that Jake Harris has had a tough go and this situation only adds to his strife.
