As The Walking Dead ( TWD ) fans across America gear up for the October premiere of The Walking Dead , Chandler Riggs was on hand to answer some questions at Comi-Con in San Diego. Riggs gave an interview during a press conference, during which he revealed Carl’s plan for dealing with Negan during Season 7 of the popular AMC series.

Riggs said that Carl’s outlook on Negan was far from favorable. During the interview he stated, “Just from the Saviors being jerks of people and trying to kill his friends and kill his family, they kind of got off to a bad start, I think Carl is one of the only ones in the group that was pulled, that didn’t in that scene stand up to Negan like Abraham and maybe Daryl.”
But, even though Chandler Riggs, a.k.a. Carl Grimes, doesn’t particularly care for the character of Negan and his menacing persona, Comicbook says he also thinks the man is “really cool, though.”

Negan is probably one of the most terrifying villains to grace the screen as part of The Walking Dead cast. As Season 7 unfolds, fans will watch as Carl and Negan develop a very interesting and somewhat controversial relationship.
And, even though Chandler Riggs was able to give fans a glimpse behind the curtain of TWD , he still couldn’t give up the goods on which character bit the dust at the end of Negan’s bat during the Season 6 finale.
Fans are chomping at the bit to find out who died in last season’s finale cliffhanger, and the show’s executives have remained tight-lipped so far. However, the San Diego event did leave fans with some clues as to who Negan’s unfortunate victim might have been. The show’s producer, Greg Nicotero, did confirm that the victim’s identity will be revealed during the first episode of the new season. Unfortunately for fans, rumors are also flying that two characters will die during the premiere episode.
The identity of the next character to meet his or her demise was revealed to directors, and rumor has it that tears were shed over the news. For fans, those tears can mean only one thing – a beloved main character will likely reach the end of his or her TWD journey early in Season 7.
Fans everywhere are strategically trying to piece together the clues that point to Negan’s now infamous kill during Season 6. But, we will all have to wait until the premiere of Season 7 to finally get a hard and fast answer to the question, “who did Negan kill?” TWD Twitter accounts constantly tease fans with images of the characters with Neagan’s bat located very near to their vulnerable heads. These strategically tweeted images have been building suspense for fans since the very night Season 6 ended.

It is safe to say that the storyline for Season 7 will be full of drama, intrigue, suspense, and gore. Who will survive Season 7? Who will die at Negan’s hands? Who will fall victim to the walkers?
