It turns out Donald Trump’s courtroom antics didn’t just stink metaphorically. They came with an actual stench. In a no-holds-barred revelation, author and journalist E. Jean Carroll exposed the former president’s appalling personal behavior during his legal battles, suggesting that his flatulence, groaning, and visible disdain for his legal team added an unbearable odor to an already toxic atmosphere.

Carroll sued Trump for defamation and was awarded $83 million in early 2024. She shared these unsavory details during a June 19 appearance on the Meidas Touch podcast to promote her book Not My Type.

While Donald Trump’s outbursts, snarling, and courtroom tirades have been documented in news cycles throughout 2024, this is the first time anyone has claimed his bodily functions were part of the circus.

From allegedly letting one rip without shame to spitting superstitiously and mocking his own lawyers, Carroll painted a picture not of a man under pressure. But of one who didn’t care how low he sank!

E. Jean Carroll’s Eyewitness Account About Donald Trump’s ‘Moaning, Groaning, Spitting and Flatulence’

Carroll’s vivid descriptions sound more like a grotesque caricature than the behavior of a U.S. president.

However, as she says, Trump’s time in court was marked by arrogance and air pollution. “Pew! Pew! Pew!” she recalled in her book. It was a phrase referencing Trump’s bizarre tendency to spit three times, supposedly to ward off the evil eye. “It is the old Russian peasant practice of spitting three times when a good thing happens to ward off the Evil Eye,” she explained.

So, there was a surreal folkloric twist to the courtroom drama? Seems about right.

Reportedly, Trump farted uncontrollably during his RNC speeches, according to a sound technician.

The anecdotes didn’t end with odd habits. Regardless of the people nearby, Carroll accused Trump of emitting silent but deadly flatulence. This, combined with his “moaning and his groaning and his weeping and his snarling,” created a sensory nightmare that few could ignore. Despite her trauma with Trump (having accused him of sexual assault dating back to the 1990s), Carroll says her fear faded when she saw him again in court. “He was nothing. Just no power. He had, he was zero,” she said.

Her scathing description of his physical appearance also didn’t hold back: “This is a man who wears apricot makeup, with his hair twirled around his head like Barbara Stanwyck in Ball of Fire.”

Carroll Says Trump Was ‘Cruel’ to His Legal Team As Well

Trump’s alleged lack of basic decency didn’t stop at bodily functions. Carroll noted that attorney Alina Habba, part of his inner legal circle, endured his derision and bullying. “Oh, he was very cruel to Alina Habba, Esquire. Really treated her terribly,” Carroll said on the podcast. “I don’t know how she carried on.”

The courtroom experience was not only physically unpleasant but emotionally toxic, even for those on Trump’s side.

This aligns with broader public impressions of Trump’s courtroom demeanor throughout 2024, which included reports of grumbling, name-calling, and public outbursts. But Carroll’s account adds a particularly pungent twist to the narrative.

If the president aimed to present himself as a wrongly accused statesman, his gas-passing and groaning undercut the image at every turn. Whether Trump’s behavior was part of a calculated power play or a sign of disregard for decorum, it left a mark, not just in the courtroom transcripts.

If Carroll’s book and podcast appearance are any indication, Donald Trump’s legal woes stink in more ways than one.
