Tiffany Trump has always kept her love life a bit more low-key than the rest of her famous family, so it’s no surprise that one detail about her relationship with Michael Boulos has mostly flown under the radar. Their age difference.
While Melania and Donald Trump’s 24-year gap has been endlessly analyzed, Tiffany and Boulos’ four-year difference has barely made a ripple. But what’s truly unexpected? Tiffany is the older one in the relationship.

It’s not a shocking age gap by any means, but it’s one that most people simply didn’t see coming. Despite meeting when they were both in their early twenties, the pair clearly weren’t interested in playing the field. In fact, Boulos popped the question after five years of dating, with a $1.2 million engagement ring, no less. The proposal took place at the White House in January 2021, during Donald Trump’s final day in office.
While they now live a more private life in Florida, Tiffany isn’t shy when it comes to celebrating personal milestones. Although she initially kept her pregnancy under wraps, her father ended up breaking the news publicly. Since then, she’s embraced her new chapter, even sharing a maternity shoot on Instagram.
“Counting down the days until we meet our little man,” she captioned the earlier post.
Now in her 30s, Tiffany has welcomed her son Alexander Trump Boulos on May 15. She seems completely ready for motherhood, while Boulos is still in his 20s. And yet, it doesn’t seem to matter one bit to them.

Their love story started in 2018 on the sun-soaked shores of Mykonos, at none other than Lindsay Lohan’s beach club. Tiffany met Boulos, the Nigerian-raised business heir, just weeks before his 21st birthday. Tiffany, who had turned 24 that fall, was already a few years ahead in life. Despite their romantic connection happening at Lohan’s venue, the actor insisted she wasn’t involved. “I wasn’t there when they met,” she told People in 2019. “I know him … and I know her … but I don’t know what happened.”
Though the age gap has never been an issue between them, it briefly made headlines during another political wedding. When President Biden’s granddaughter Naomi married Peter Neal in 2022, some conservative critics took aim at the fact Naomi was born in 1993 and her husband in 1997, just like Tiffany and Boulos.
“Naomi Biden’s granddaughter is three years older than her husband. This is the America that they want,” tweeted conservative commentator Richard Hanania.
That didn’t go over well.
“You seem a bit obsessed with this theme of older women, younger men. Not worthy of making a big deal over. Did you notice Tiffany Trump is also 4 years older than her new husband too? Have you obsessed over that relationship too?” one X user clapped back. Unsurprisingly, Hanania didn’t respond.
Clearly, when it comes to love, the only number that matters to Tiffany and Michael is the one on their wedding date. The age difference was never a big deal to begin with.
