A Pennsylvania crash killed two children and four adults. On Sunday, a Jeep Liberty driven by Kathy Douglas crossed the center line. Her SUV hit a Pontiac Bonneville head on.

Both vehicles were traveling on a rural highway that passes through the Allegheny Forest. As reported by Fox News , Douglas’ daughter and nephew were killed in the collision. The impact killed all four passengers in the Bonneville.

The adult victims include Elaine Beimel, age 55, David Cuneo, age 54, Florence Donachy, age 81, and Gary Beimel, age 62.

Douglas’ daughter Olivia, age 12, and her nephew Jarrett Costanzo, age 12, were also killed in the Pennsylvania crash.

A third child was injured in the accident. The unidentified boy was taken to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh by helicopter.

Sam Cummings, who is handling the deceased children’s funeral, says that the third child is “doing OK.” He is currently listed in serious condition.

Trooper Roger McCloskey explains that the investigation is ongoing. However, he believes Douglas is at fault for crossing the center line. She may face charges in the crash .

McKean County Coroner Michael Cahill says all six victims were pronounced dead on scene. The victims all died from blunt force trauma. Autopsies were waived, and the bodies were released for burial.

As reported by ABC News , both vehicles sustained extensive damage . Authorities closed US Route 219 for over six hours to investigate the scene and clear the debris.

Funeral arrangements for the four adult victims are being handled by the Lynch-Green Funeral Home in St. Marys. The children’s funerals will be held at the Cummings Funeral Home in Kane.

Community members gathered at the Kane Area Middle School football stadium to remember the children. Over 300 people attended the service, including the children’s classmates.

The Pennsylvania crash devastated several families and stunned an entire community.
