Lamar Odom had his license suspended this morning after he was arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles .
According to E! Online , the NBA player had his license suspended for one year. He was released from jail this morning on $15,000 bond.
Lamar has been dealing with a laundry list of personal problems recently. His wife Khloe Kardashian reportedly held an intervention for Odom last week but basketball player doesn’t seem to be listening to her advice.
The Kardashian family is reportedly hoping that his arrest last night will serve as a wake up call for Odom.
A source said: “Khloé and the family are urging Lamar to seek treatment. She’s been trying so, so hard to keep him from hitting a bottom like this. But if this is what needed to happen, then this is what needed to happen.”
Lamar and Khloe have been the subject of dozens internet rumors in the last month. Initial reports claimed that Odom was having multiple extra-marital affairs but now it appears that the main problem is Lamar’s drug use.
Lamar hasn’t commented on the cheating rumors, his arrest, or his alleged drug problem. Khloe, on the other hand, has scolded the media for their false reports. After going on a curse filled tirade , Khloe wrote this on Instagram : “Never judge someone without knowing the whole story. You may think you understand, but you don’t.”
