Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 , the biggest game of 2009, has a sequel. Call of Duty: Black Ops will probably be the biggest game of 2010, and will release on November 9th 2010, almost a year to the day that Modern Warfare 2 launched.

That’s almost all we know about the game for now – a very blank official site can be found here – though some extra details were spilled by UK retailer GAME in its listing page .

GAME reveals versions of the Black Ops for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, and suggests in its listing that this Call of Duty will focus on secret, special forces. It also says we’ll be going to Cuba, Vietnam, and the Arctic:

“Now you will witness the birth of the Elite Special Forces and take part in off-the-record missions using unconventional weaponry to get the job done! From Cuba to the Arctic and the jungles of Vietnam, Call of Duty: Black Ops features stunning cinematic graphics and intense gameplay that puts you right at the heart of the action.”

We should see more of the title at E3 in June.
