Lea Michele has been on the receiving end of numerous reports that she has moved on from her late-boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith. On the contrary, it seems like Lea Michele is seeking comfort in man’s best friend instead. Rather than “moving on,” Lea Michele has adopted an 8-year-old dog named Pearl.
Lea Michele announced the new arrival into her life through Twitter. It looks like Pearl will help heal the wounds she has experienced from losing her love Cory Monteith . Pearl, who looks more like a baby bear than a regular dog, is an adorable bundle of cuteness.
Lea Michelle tweeted a picture of her posing with her caramel-colored dog. Although Michele did not specify what breed Pearl is, she seems to be a Pomeranian.
The happy new mommy was so excited to share her new pooch Pearl with the world, that she posted two more photos of the dog on her Twitter. Michele expressed an enormous amount of excitement, which used to be her trademark on Twitter before tragedy struck her this summer. Of Pearl she wrote, “Today I would like to introduce you to Pearl. She’s 8 years old and is my new little love … Welcome Pearl!”
Another photo of Michele’s dog was posted with a caption that read, “Pearl’s first photo shoot!” In the photo Lea Michele posed in a sleek outfit, as her newly adopted pooch seemed to look very clueless as to what was happening.
After Glee’s tribute episode to Cory Monteith was aired, a story was published saying that Lea Michele was ready to think about moving on. The story was later denied, and a report posted by People said that Lea Michele “doesn’t like to be alone” and “isn’t ready to think about dating.”
Good thing Lea Michele has the company of her newly adopted Pearl!
