You might not think that a Starbucks coffee shop is the ideal place to look for romance, and especially not to pick up a woman. Then again, for many it is as good a place as any. The soft jazzy music, the strong aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the air – you get the picture.
But a selfie video, taken by the man known on the internet as the ‘StarbucksDrakeHands’ guy, and sent to the girl he had just met in Starbucks backfired, bigtime! How bad can a 16 second clip be? Well, as you saw if you already watched the cringeworthy clip above, very bad!
So after the handsome chappy with the big hair meets the pretty model at his local coffee shop he sends her the video in the hope that…. Yea, what was he thinking when he made the bizarre clip? And moreover what was he thinking when he sent it!?
Of course the young woman promptly did the right thing and immediately shared the silly clip with her friends, sending it viral. Once it had been posted on an Instragram page it was fair game for all to see and to cringe at simultaneously.
The clip got over 70,000 views in three days since it was uploaded onto YouTube. Then a number of people produced their own parodies of the Starbucks Drake Hand guy with many even more hysterical videos finding their way around the internet.
