Kim Kardashian And Kanye West May Marry After Divorce Is Finalized [Report]

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are preparing for a wedding once Kim’s divorce from Kris Humphries is finalized according to sources. The couple have been heard talking about weddings, and Kim was even seen trying on a dress recently.

Barbara Walters, not so shy about asking probing questions, even asked Kim Kardashian if there was a wedding brewing on the horizon.

Walters said on an episode of the View in September:

“What about marriage? Do you want his child? Where are we?”

Kim is not really able to talk about these things because she is still married and involved in a very public divorce from Humphries. Kardashian filed for divorce more than a year ago, but the trial is caught up in court. The divorce has already lasted five times longer than their marriage.

Yet a source in the know tells Us Weekly that it’s likely Kim and Kanye will be walking down the isle soon enough.

“Kim thinks they’ll get engaged and try for a baby once the divorce is final. Kanye is actually being very patient.”

The source said that it is unlikely that Kardashian and Kanye will even do anything remotely connected to a wedding so it cannot be used against her in court.

“After the backlash from ending her 72-day marriage with Kris, Kim would never get engaged until everything was properly handled. There are no wedding plans, period. She and Kanye are taking their time. That’s the truth.”

Kim was recently on Good Morning America and was asked about starting a family. Kim discussed whether visiting a fertility clinic with sister Khloe made her eager to have children, telling host Lara Spencer:

“It was really informative to go with Khloe. But, “I don’t think I’m ready yet.”
