Chris Brown’s rumored new girlfriend, Cydney Christine, may have found herself at the center of backlash on Friday after being accused of throwing shade at Karrueche Tran on Instagram, however, it appears that Christine is now aiming to set the record straight when it comes to her reported diss on Karrueche after taking to Twitter to suggest that her Instagram comments concerning her Halloween Horror Nights rendezvous with Chris Brown may have been taken out of context.
Earlier this week, Chris Brown and Cydney Christine found themselves at the center of dating rumors after they were spotted attending an annual Halloween event in Hollywood, California on October 21 , further fueling already existing romance claims just weeks after the duo was spotted attending a USC vs. UCLA women’s volleyball match together in September. While Chris Brown has been adamant about avoiding any conversation concerning his current relationship status, Cydney Christine aimed to shut down the dating reports last month by insisting that she and Brown are nothing more than good friends.

Karrueche Tran Denies Being Friends With Cydney Christine Amid Chris Brown Dating Rumors
Similarly, after several reports began pointing out that Chris Brown’s former flame, Karrueche Tran, was also in attendance at the Halloween Horror Nights event on the same night as Chris and Cydney, fans quickly began to take to Cydney’s Instagram account to inquire about whether or not the model believes that Karrueche would be upset with her for having been spotted with Brown during the event . In fact, after one fan took to the comment section of Christine’s photo to note that Karrueche is likely “gonna beat [her] a**” after she was spotted hanging out with Brown in Hollywood, Cydney responded to the fan with a note that seemingly aimed to throw shade at Karrueche with the message , “@boujie.bouj she can try lol,” the Shade Room reports.
Following Cydney’s alleged diss on Karrueche, fans began flooding the 19-year-old model’s Instagram account with messages that aimed to show their support for Tran amid the newly emerged drama, prompting Christine to take to Twitter to call out her haters in response to the Chris Brown dating rumors and reported feud with Karrueche.

“Lmao wtf that’s not even the whole conversation,” Cydney Christine began in a comment shared to The Shade Room ‘s post concerning her evening out with Chris Brown. “I’m not even like that #ohwell.”
While it appears that Cydney Christine’s comments about Tran may have been taken out of context by the site, neither Chris Brown nor Cydney has publicly commented on the newly formed dating reports since their outing on October 21.
The news comes just weeks after sources close to Karrueche Tran personally dispelled ongoing speculation suggesting that the model is friends with Cydney Christine after fans were able to dig up an old photo of the duo on social media, prompting a wealth of speculation regarding whether or not Chris Brown may be dating a former friend of the actress.
According to Urban Islandz , sources close to Karrueche shut down the friendship claims by noting that while the duo has posed for photos together in the past, Karrueche and Cydney have no prior history of a close friendship.
“At the time she was just a fan who was taking a pic with Karrueche and Chris Brown,” the source explained to the site of the photo in question, seemingly echoing similar sentiments made by Tran’s manager, Jacob York, in the comment section of the site’s post .
As of yet, Karrueche Tran has not responded to Cydney Christine’s Instagram comments and has not acknowledged Chris Brown’s recent outing with the young model.
