Rob Kardashian has admitted that he doesn’t care about Keeping Up With Kardashians , the reality TV show that he stars in alongside his family, and now spends more time working on his sock line, Arthur George.
Kardashian, who is the youngest child of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003, talked to the Wall Street Journal about his fashion ambitions.
The 26-year-old is usually usurped by the exploits of his three older sisters, Kourtney, Kim , and Khloe, and he has now looked to distance himself from the show that bears his last name as he tries to create his own dynasty.
Kardashian was candidly asked, “A lot of people say your family doesn’t do anything. I am going to give you an opportunity to explain; What do you do? And what is your job?”
The only male member of the Kardashian offspring then responded, “Literally, my job is I make socks. That’s all I do. I don’t necessarily care about the show. I would rather film this, me doing what I do, than being around my family.”
However, don’t take this as a diss to the other Kardashians, as Rob loves the fact that filming the reality show has brought him closer to his sisters, mother, and step-father.
Kardashian continued, “But thank God, I have that opportunity to be with my family and work with my family. Not everybody even gets to live with their own family because they have to go to L.A. or New York or wherever to work and find a job and leave their family back home. But everyday I get to work with my family, if I want to.”
Rob went on to confirm that he works on Arthur George designs every day, but admits that not everyone will accept that he genuinely loves fashion.
Kardashian stated, “I love fashion too. I’ve been surrounded by women my whole life, so obviously I love fashion… But I’d like to do my own thing and focus on what I love. If people accept it, they accept it. If they don’t, they don’t.”
