EA has done almost everything wrong over the past year as seen with Sims, but they are doing something right for once by offering a Humble Bundle. The EA Humble Bundle will include Dead Space 3 and Crysis 2, two very popular titles.

In total, the Humble Bundle includes Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Medal of Honor, Burnout Paradise, The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2, and Mirror’s Edge.

For those of you that do not already know, the Humble Bundle works based off of how much you spend. Paying almost nothing gets you the base set of games whereas paying the average includes extra titles. For this Humble Bundle, EA is throwing in the Sims 3 and Battlefield 3. Since the average donation is just $4.67, now is a great time to pick up some new games.

Just like all Humble Bundles, the majority of the money goes to charity and buyers get to choose how much goes to EA and how much goes to the charity that EA chose for this offering.

EA went with five different charities including the American Red Cross and San Francisco AIDS Foundation. The craziest aspect of the Humble Bundle is how fast they sell.

More than $1 million has been raised from this one so far resulting in more than 400,000 sales. Indie publishers have historically been the main people involved in the Humble Bundle but after THQ joined in on the fun and raised $5.1 million, EA decided it would probably worth it just for the good press.

EA has had a horrible year so far with Sim City failing in every sense of the word. Even now, months into the future, EA is struggling to come back from the bad press surrounding the Sims launch. However, any publisher that participates in the Humble Bundle always tends to get a lot of positive attention which is something EA definitely needs right now.
