Carrie Underwood doesn’t use her smartphone to play games, but to stay healthy, by using her favorite calorie counting apps.

Underwood, who was recently named as co-host of the CMA Awards in November for the sixth year in a row, confesses that it’s all about health for her.

“It’s all like, healthy-living stuff.” she says about her phone usage and adds that she uses her Livestrong app a lot.

“I’m a calorie counter; I have been for, like, seven years. I keep a food journal, and it has all my foods in it.” Wow, impressive.

Underwood, who is 30, also relies on her Whole Foods app not only to find food, but because she usually needs to find the closest location.

The country star has been very busy this week, so it’s no wonder she has to use apps to keep up with her health habits.

Her Blown Away Live Concert DVD is out this week and she has been making the rounds promoting it. On Monday, Carrie Underwood co-hosted Good Morning America and made an appearance in Live! With Kelly And Michael on Tuesday.

On Friday, she is expected to play at the Willamette Country Music Festival in Brownsville, Oregon.

She is also the voice of the radio campaign for Grand Ole Opry, which starts hitting stations next week.

Last night Underwood dominated the CMA Music Festival alongside country music luminaries such as Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, and Tim McGraw.

Underwood stood out because of her energy and the command she has over her powerful voice, which makes her the consummate performer.

Things are looking up for Carrie, whose current single See You Again and Don’t Forget To Remember Me sold a combined 500,000 units thus far, giving them gold status.

See You Again is her single from Blown Away from 2012 and Remember Me was released as a single in 2006.

Carrie Underwood is one of the most liked country music artists around because of her down to earth personality and talent.
