Five-time Olympic skiing medalist Bode Miller is engaged to be married. The famed athlete took to Twitter on Monday night to officially announce his upcoming nuptials.
Miller is engaged to professional volleyball player Morgan Beck, which likely means super athletic children are in their future.
A post on Bode Miller’s twitter page showed off a picture of the engagement ring with the following tweet:
‘‘I have found the one!!! And convinced her to marry me. It was a process (at) MorganEBeck is hard to convince. I’m super excited!’’
Bode Miller has long been the bad boy of skiing but also one of its most celebrated athletes with 33 World Cup wins, two overall World Cup titles and five Olympic medals including a gold at the 2010 Vancouver Games.
Beck, 25, is a 6-foot-3 beach volleyball player from Orange County who was formerly married to Penn State volleyball player Matt Proper.
Miller has a 4-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
So will Bode Miller slow down from his high-risk style of skiing now that he will have a family to worry about? Considering he just seemed to push himself harder after the birth of his daughter I’m going to say that’s a resounding no.
Bode Miller and Morgan Beck have not yet announced a date for their upcoming wedding.
