A “Detroit Bankrupt” chant was heard at Wednesday night’s game between the Cleveland Indians and the Detroit Tigers.

During the top half of the 9th inning, some Tigers fans at the Progressive Field in Cleveland began chanting their usual “Let’s go Tigers” cheer. In response, Indians fans decided to steal their thunder and began singing “Detroit’s Bankrupt.”

Fox Sports cameras picked up the sounds of both chants and put the tape on air.

The Tigers ended up defeating the Indians 6 -5 in the 14-inning game.

Seems that the “Detroit Bankrupt” chant didn’t have that much of an effect on the players.
