Oakland Raiders starting quarterback Terrelle Pryor doesn’t remember much from Monday Night Football. The Raiders were walloped by the Broncos 37-21, so maybe the loss of memory is for the best.
Terrelle Pryor left the Raiders game in the fourth quarter after a monster hit by Broncos linebacker Lesley Woodyard. Pryor seemed fine after the hit and stayed in the game for two more plays. After failing to convert a fourth and goal, he was taken to the locker room for evaluation .
In his post game press conference, head coach Dennis Allen refused to speculate on the injury.
Terrelle Pryor didn’t help his chances to start week four after tweeting , “Sorry about the loss RaiderNation. I don’t remember much! Good hit by whoever it was. I heard our team fought well.. We will be back!”
Realizing his lack of memory might be cause for concern, Pryor then tweeted, “I feel great by the way! Thanks for the concern! Go Raiders!”
Terrelle Pryor can feel as great as he wants, he still needs to be medically cleared to play. The Raiders play the Washington Redskins on Sunday and will need Pryor to outduel RG3.
In his first season starting, Pryor is opening eyes around the league. He’s completed 65 percent of his passes for over 600 yards and two touchdowns. He’s also rushed for 198 yards.
Sunday against the Broncos was Terrelle Pryor’s best game yet. Before being taken out, he was 19-28 passing for 281 yards and one touchdown. His 112.4 passer rating was better than a number of elite quarterbacks the same week.
