Legendary rock band Radiohead aren’t calling it quits yet. The band has revealed they plan to start working on a new album this September.

The last album Radiohead released was King Of Limbs in 2011. That album, like almost every album in Radiohead’s catalogue, was met with critical and commercial acclaim.

Since King of Limbs Radiohead members have focused on other endeavors.

Bassist Colin Greenwood has spent a lot of time in South Africa giving back to underprivileged kids. The rocker recently spoke with Mail and Guardian about his work in South Africa, and about Radiohead’s future.

Greenwood reveals that the Radiohead will start working on their new album in September. He does not, however, indicate what musical direction the often experimental band will take.

Thom Yorke, lead singer of Radiohead, is staying busy until work begins on Radiohead’s new album in September. Rolling Stone reports that Yorke has been working on a side project with Flea from the The Red Hot Chili Peppers called Atoms for Peace.

Atoms for Peace’s debut album drops on February 26.

Radiohead did record one new track in Jack White’s Nashville studio last summer . White tells Rolling Stone :

“I love it. So I hope that’s gonna come out soon. It’s up to Radiohead. I don’t know where they’re at with it.”

With work on more tracks for Radiohead’s new album starting in September, it will be awhile before Jack White, and the rest of the music world, gets its wish.

Radiohead first broke out with their smash single “Creep,” a rendition which Lance Armstrong humorously sang to Oprah during his recent interview. Here is the real version of “Creep” by Radiohead:
