The Baldwin family is filled with famous faces. Alec and his brothers Stephen, William and Daniel have starred in several Hollywood movies. Well, now there’s going to be another famous face in the family as Ireland Baldwin, Alec’s daughter, has signed on with modeling agency IMG.
Ireland, who is the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, officially signed with the modeling agency last week.
Ireland wrote on Twitter: “Officially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGmodels! I’m blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK.”
Fashionista notes that Ireland may be trying to follow her mother’s footsteps to the silver screen. Bassinger was a successful model before she became an Oscar winning actress.
Ireland may be just starting her modeling career but she’s no stranger to bikini photoshoots. The 17-year-old model frequently posts photos of herself to social media sites like Instagram.
Ireland hasn’t been in the spotlight too much on her own accord but she did play a big part in one of her father’s tirades. Alec, who has become known for a fast temper, called Ireland a “thoughtless little pig” in a now infamous voice-mail .
Hopefully the new modeling job will get people to think of Ireland as more than just a “thoughtless little pig.”
