Ariana Grande, Jai Brooks Breakup For Real Or Publicity Stunt?

Ariana Brooks and Jai Brooks have broken up, according to rumors that were sweeping the internet over the past few days.

The 20-year-old Yours Truly singer and the 18-year-old Australian comedian are supposedly on the outs because 19-year-old Justin Bieber kissed her on the cheek. Celebrity Teen Scoop pointed out Saturday that Ariana Grande had already refuted the Bieber rumors, saying that the two were just friends.

However, Nickutopia is also saying that Grande and Brooks split up, although they’re not repeating any Bieber stories.

But they’re putting a fair amount of faith in a tweet from Jai’s brother Luke Brooks who tweeted Thursday, “Never seen someone so down and destroyed.”

Maybe. But how do you know it’s Jai Brooks who is feeling down and destroyed? For that matter, how do you know that the whole brouhaha isn’t one of the Janoskians infamous pranks?

But we may have to take these tweets from Ariana’s mother Joan Grande a little more seriously.

The only thing that bothers me is that we already know that Ariana Grande likes to play little pranks. She recently released some prank cover art for her Yours Truly album and then admitted to the joke.

And Jai and Luke Brooks are part of a professional group of pranksters.

Is it impossible that the Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks breakup is a publicity stunt to promote Grande’s Yours Truly debut album, which is now available for pre-order? Time will tell.
