Hayden Panettiere Flashes Diamond Ring, Engagement Rumors Spark

Could Hayden Panettiere be engaged? Sources say it’s possible, given the fact that the Nashville star sported a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger while walking through LAX airport on Tuesday.

Panettiere has been dating pro boxer Wladimir Klitschko on and off since 2009 and the pair have been the subject of a few engagement rumors since then.

However, this time it could actually be real. The Daily Mail reports that the latest engagement rumors began again in May when the actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her right hand.

However, from the photos, it appears the newest ring is much more sparkly than the last. Hayden Panettiere didn’t talk about the ring during her brief appearance at the airport. However, she appeared very happy with a grey tank top, a Chanel chain belt, skinny jeans, and grey studded boots.

She signed autographs for several fans as she worked her way through the airport. The pair took a break, but reunited at the beginning of the year.

PEOPLE notes that Panettiere and Klitschko have been quiet about their relationship, though they have stepped out in public together several times since they split back in May 2011. They were seen enjoying a taco date in February.

Since then, Panettiere has been seen cheering for the 37-year-old boxer as he defended his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles on Saturday. They have had several other public appearances since then. At the time of the May rumors, sources claimed Hayden was holding off on wearing her engagement ring in public.

A source at the time added that “very few people know, and she isn’t wearing her ring publicly yet.” However, it either appears that Hayden doesn’t care if people know, or she forgot she was wearing the ring (though from the size, we’re betting its the former).
