Annie Wersching Welcomes Baby Boy Two Weeks Ahead Of Schedule

Annie Wersching has welcomed a new member to her family after giving birth to her second son.

The star of 24 and Revolution had an early arrival on Sunday, when son Ozzie Wersching Full was born two weeks before his due date. She and husband Stephen Full already have a 3-year-old boy, Freddie, who actually celebrated his birthday on Thursday.

Annie Wersching seemed grateful that the new addition was able to avoid crashing his brother’s party.

“Mom and Dad and big brother Freddie are overjoyed,” the couple said in a statement. “And so happy Ozzie didn’t land on Freddie’s third birthday.”

The 36-year-old actress went into labor early in the day on Sunday, giving birth to Ozzie at 12:57 pm. The little guy weighed in at 8 pounds and 6 ounces, measuring 19 and a quarter inches long.

Annie Wersching is known for her role as FBI agent Renee Walker on the Fox series 24, but she’s also appeared in Touch, Dallas, and Body Of Proof. Lately she has branched out into other areas of acting as well. In December 2012 she announced she would be providing the voice and mocap acting for a character on the PlayStation 3 game The Last Of Us.

Her character’s story was revealed in a trailer shown at the Spike Video Game Awards in early December.

But Wersching has been just as busy at home as she has with her work. When she announced her pregnancy earlier this year, Wersching noted how quickly Freddie was growing up and was excited to add to the family.

“He has a full head of hair and is very calm and sweet and adorable,” she told People of the now big brother.

Annie Wersching married Stephen Full at their home in Los Angeles in September 2009.
