Dave Chappelle Tour 2013, Tickets Sales, Dates Detailed

As The Inquisitr reported earlier, Dave Chappelle’s tour with Flight Of The Conchords this summer has been announced, and from what we know so far, we’re totally going.

The Dave Chappelle tour is not only a long-awaited definitive appearance by the notoriously elusive comic, but a roster of some of today’s funniest comedians are also appearing at the Funny Or Die Oddball Comedy Curiosity Festival, with dates added already for later this summer.

Fans are keen to see Dave Chappelle tour, but Flight Of The Conchords also will be of big interest to fans of the HBO show, canceled after two hilarious and addictive seasons.

Chappelle, Bret, and Jemaine are heading up the Funny Or Die Oddball Comedy Curiosity Festival, but those two big draws are not all the event has to offer either.

Al Madrigal, Hannibal Buress, and John Mulaney consistently crack us up every time we see them, and they will be joined by Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Jim Jefferies, Kristen Schaal and Brody Stevens on the tour.

Over on Facebook, a page with more details on the tour suggests that a traditional festival atmosphere will be part of the upcoming 13-stop series:

“Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy Curiosity Festival featuring Dave Chappelle, Flight of the Conchords, with Al Madrigal, Brody Steven, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, Kristen Schaal, and many more, will hit U.S. venues beginning on August 23rd at austin360 Amphitheatre in Austin, Texas, and will culminate with a show in Phoenix, Arizona, at Desert Sky Pavilion on September 22nd. The 13 city trek is the largest outdoor comedy tour ever promoted by Live Nation, and is billed as a full festival experience featuring two stages, street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, tasty treats and more.”

The Dave Chappelle tour kicks off in Austin and ends in Phoenix, and there are dates in between in Pittsburgh, Detroit, Tinley Park (Illinois), two dates in Jersey, two in California, two in Texas, and one in Boulder, Colorado.
