Miley Cyrus is sticking by her mom.
After Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish announced they were getting a divorce after 19 years of marriage, Miley posted a carefree photo with her mom and younger sister Noah . The three are in the back of a car, with Miley flashing a peace sign to the camera, while the caption reads: “The baddest b****es in the world.”
Miley has shown love for her dad as well — tweeting him a Father’s Day message — but also appears to have some animosity toward him. Earlier this week, she tweeted what seemed like an angry message: “Since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?”
For Miley Cyrus, Twitter has been a sort of emotional vent. She’s gotten into trouble with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth over her tendency to overshare, especially when it comes to relationships.
“Thought of the day: maybe it’s not that they love you less, they just love you the most they are capable of loving,” Cyrus tweeted on September 13, a message many interpreted as a dig to Hemsworth.
Miley even quit the site as Liam’s behest last year, but, after a five-day hiatus, she joined back up again.
The 20-year-old singer talked about Twitter and the negative consequences it can bring this week. While appearing on Australia’s Bert Show , Miley talked about how the microblogging site can tend to attack haters , but she shied away from addressing her own Twitter heckler Amanda Bynes .
While not addressing Bynes by name, Miley said others have attacked her in order to take advantage of her popularity.
Despite the Twitter drama between the couple and the failure of her parents marriage, Miley Cyrus is going ahead with plans to marry Liam Hemsworth .The couple recently weather a rough patch, and are reportedly still going strong.
