Portia de Rossi says she doesn’t need to follow Hollywood’s trend of plastic surgery because her vegan diet keeps her looking young.
Portia admits that she has to convince fans that she has never undergone plastic surgery to keep her youthful complexion and overall look.
A source at E! News claims that the movie star is a strict vegan and in fact hates the idea of going under the knife.
According to Portia de Rossi:
“As women we’re so conditioned to think that beauty and age are very important – that you stay kind of youthful in order to be beautiful. I don’t think it’s fair for people to think that women are just vain because they’re worried about getting older. It’s actually really linked in with a lot of very primitive stuff for women.” And she poops on plastic surgery, telling People magazine in April: “The one thing I don’t wanna do is chase what I looked like at 20.”
Portia adamantly denies that she has ever had plastic surgery and that she never will thanks to her five year love affair with vegan eating.
Portia is no stranger to food and the effects it can have on the body. She recently authored Unbearable Lightness: A Story of Loss and Gain . Portia’s book focuses on her life and the eating disorders she has struggled through.
Rumors only began to surface about Portia de Rossi have plastic surgery after she appeared on several episodes of the Netflix revived series Arrested Development.
