While Kim K.’s swollen feet are not unusual in the later stages of pregnancy in particular, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has the unfortunate predicament of being under the intense glare of media scrutiny every time she steps out of the house.
Kim K.’s swollen feet aren’t the only thing the public has lambasted the first-time mom for since Kanye West announced New Year’s Eve that the celebutante was carrying his baby.
Earlier in her pregnancy, Kardashian stepped out in a black and white colorblock frock — and was promptly ridiculed across the internet for resembling Shamu, Sea World’s resident killer whale.
While Kim K.’s swollen feet are in part what appears to be a product of attempting to remain fashionable until the end of her pregnancy, it’s also the case that most pregnant women are not constantly photographed in glaring sunlight every single day from thousands of angles … and also, the bad shots sell a lot better, don’t they?
Pregnant women and mothers overall probably have more sympathy for Kim K.’s swollen feet because that is definitely one of the more uncomfortable aspects of late pregnancy, and heels are hard enough to walk in when you’re not knocked up.
The added discomfort of leather straps clearly digging into her skin just looks painful, and all pregnant or formerly pregnant women can tell you that when you put shoes on, your feet don’t look like that.
Though we never thought anyone at The Inquisitr would say this, as Kim K.’s swollen feet make the tabloid rounds, we think it’s time everyone left the poor pregnant lady alone already — do you feel sympathy for Kim?
