Wireless Carrier O2 Adds Video Calls To iPhone Plan [Rumor]


The British side of O2 this week let it leak that the companies tariff list includes the ability to make video calls from the companies iPhone offerings.

The cost is the same as voice only calls, although very little information about the service has been revealed by O2 at this time.

O2 also has yet to reveal if the video calling function will be included with all iPhone devices sold by the company or if secondary software will need to be installed in order for the feature to work. Apple iPhone 3.2 has given reference to video calls, but no actually devices have been spotted that show a camera or any other clues regarding how the service would actually work. [Electronista]
