Lindsay Lohan Denied Adderall, Wants To Leave Betty Ford
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been denied access to the prescription drug Adderall during her 90-day stay in the Betty Ford Center.
Doctors were evaluating the actress to see if she required the medication during her court-ordered stint in rehab. According to reports received by TMZ, Lohan is no longer allowed to take the pills.
Although Lindsay Lohan said she needed Adderall in order to control her Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), the Betty Ford Center staff apparently doesn’t believe she needs the pills in order to function. As a result, her prescriptions have been cut off for the time being.
Rumors are now suggesting that the Mean Girls star wants to leave the facility since she no longer has access to the drug. The actress has reportedly told her friends that she intends to find another rehab center that would allow her to continue taking Adderall.
Of course, none of this information has been confirmed by Lohan’s legal team, her handlers, or the Betty Ford Center. It’s always best to take this information lightly when you’re dealing with anonymous sources.
The Inquisitr reported earlier this week that Lindsay Lohan will not be allowed to leave the facility during her 90-day stay. While other patients tend to earn privileges over the course of their visit, the actress will not be granted access to day trips outside of the center.
However, a counselor explained to People that there is essentially little they can do if Lohan decides that she no longer wants to stay at the Betty Ford Center.
“We can’t hold a patient against their will, we can’t stop a patient from running away. We’re not a jail. But we closely monitor patients via security and technicians 24 hours a day,” the worker explained.
What do you think about Lindsay Lohan being denied access to Adderall during her stay in rehab? Do you believe she will leave the facility before the 90 days are up?
