Taco Bell $1 Menu Being Tested In Select Cities
The Taco Bell $1 menu hasn’t rolled out nationwide yet, but the restaurant chain did send out a picture to get those taste buds watering.
The restaurant, which is currently testing out its $1 menu in Sacramento and Kansas City, said that the new low end menu will feature items like the beefy cheesy burrito, the spicy potato taco, and the shredded chicken mini quesadilla.
Taco Bell hasn’t announced any plans to bring the $1 menu to restaurants nationwide, but they’ll be listening to customer feedback over the next few weeks. The restaurant is extremely active on social media and frequently interacts with its customers.
Recently, Taco Bell joined snapchat to reveal that the Beefy Crunch Burrito would be making a comeback.
Taco Bell’s director of social and digital, Tressie Lieberman, told Mashable: “People are obsessed with Beefy Crunch Burrito, so Snapchat seemed like the right platform to make the announcement. Sharing that story on Snapchat is a fun way to connect with the fans that we are thrilled to have. It’s all about treating them like personal friends and not consumers.”
Taco Bell’s $1 menu is a slight change in direction for the restaurant. The fast food chain unveiled a “high end” menu last year in order to compete with chains like Chipotle.
Here’s a look at the new menu. Do you think Taco Bell will bring the $1 menu to stores nationwide?
