Lindsey Vonn Steps Out Without Tiger Woods
Lindsey Vonn walked the red carpet last night without her new boyfriend Tiger Woods.
But don’t worry, there’s no trouble in paradise. Vonn said that Woods couldn’t make it to the annual Delete Blood Cancer Gala in New York City because he was “practicing.”
Woods was a challenger at the Masters this year but he couldn’t find a way to slip on another green jacket. Golf.com reports that Tiger will be competing in the Players Championship next week and is apparently practicing his swing 24/7.
As for Vonn, she still has a little time before she can hit the slope again. The Olympic medalist injured her knee at the end of last season and is currently in rehab. Vonn said that her rehab is going great and that she should be able to compete at the Winter Olympics next year.
Vonn told E! Online: “I’m still in rehab, things are going really well. The knee is coming along quite nicely. But I should start skiing in September and everything’s right on track for the Olympics in February … I just dumped the brace. This is my first trip without the brace, so I’m really excited. But, unfortunately my doctor wants me to ski with it for a while, so still gonna be difficult. I can’t get rid of it entirely, unfortunately.”
Woods and Vonn confirmed that they were dating last March with a Facebook post and a bunch of professional photographs. The two have been seen together often since then. Vonn even made a trip to watch Tiger compete at the Masters.
