Clint Eastwood’s wife has reportedly checked herself into rehab.
Dina Eastwood is currently seeking treatment for depression and anxiety. Although no one from the family has gone on record about the situation, it’s believed that she is currently seeking help at a facility in Arizona.
A source close to the family explained to TMZ that Clint Eastwood’s wife has not checked into the rehabilitation facility for substance abuse. While treatment for addiction is usually covered up by words like “depression” and “anxiety,” apparently this isn’t the case.
It’s rumored that Clint and Dina Eastwood have been engaged in a feud for quite some time. The legendary actor and director hasn’t been photographed with his wife since 2011.
According to the Daily Mail , the couple reportedly got into a heated exchange during his daughter’s wedding last March .
The 47-year-old former TV anchor is the star of the E! reality series Mrs. Eastwood and Company . The cameras follow Dina and her family around during their day-to-day routines. However, Clint himself is not the subject of the series.
Dina Eastwood discussed the series last year.
“I kind of feel like I’m gatekeeping Clint’s image without showing too much about him. I give people a taste of Clint through the family. It was never about Clint. He has agreed to be in a couple of episodes and we have left it at that. Then sometimes I want him to be in more and he won’t, and with him, no means no.”
Although several news outlets have reached out to the Eastwood family for comment, none of them have responded to the reports as of this writing. If rumors about the feud are true, it could be a while before anyone publicly addresses the situation.
